Horseshoe Bend CC Policy Reminder

Horseshoe Bend CC embraces its special function as a family club, and therefore asks everyone’s careful attention to our rules governing children.

Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the Athletic Center unless accompanied by an adult. Children 12 and over ARE permitted in the Athletic Center and will be afforded all the services of the Club and are held to the same standards of behavior as any member’s guest. Any behavior problems may result in the loss of Club privileges.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The pool and tennis staffs are not responsible for babysitting or “parenting” members’ children.

The Vantage Point Bar area is for adults over 21 years of age only. Children under 21, when accompanied by an adult, are permitted in the bar.

Please continue to be mindful of the landscaped areas around the pool, tennis courts, and facility. The golf course is for the use of registered golfing members, only. There is no river access to or from the Club property.

Thank you for your help in making Horseshoe Bend CC enjoyable for everyone!

Red Clay – Resurfacing
To keep the clay courts in great condition, there is a need to resurface and laser level them approx. every 5 years. Once the courts dry from all the rain we have been receiving, we will then begin the process and will keep you posted on the status.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone out on the Red Clay courts soon. If you have any questions please contact Luke Burden, Director of Athletics.

Universal Tennis Rating Coming to HBCC in 2020

In 2020 we will be introducing UTR at Horseshoe Bend Country Club. UTR, powered by Oracle, is a global rating system that promotes fair and competitive play across the tennis world. All players, regardless of age, gender, geography or skill level are rated on a same scale between 1.00 and 16.50 based on actual match results. Click HERE for more info on UTR including the benefits and how UTR is calculated.

Designated Smoking Area Reminder

As a reminder and for the enjoyment of all members, please refrain from smoking outside the designated smoking areas. Please let your guests know about the club rules and smoking areas. The designated smoking area for the Tennis & Swim Clubhouse is at the top of the stairs at the back of the Vantage Point Bar. The pool deck, patios, and tennis courts are smoke-free areas. Thank you!

Towels Reminder

To help us to continue to offer great service to all members and guests, please remember to drop off any towels after your game in the bin provided in the Tennis and Swim Clubhouse lobby. We understand players may occasionally forget towels in their bag. If you find a HBCC tennis towel at home, please return it during your next visit; we’ll just be happy to have them back!

Online Event Registration

We have become aware that many members are unsure how to register for events on the Club website. Below are directions to help you make a successful registration. To make reservations in the Club Calendar through the member portal, members must:
Log in to the member portal using member number and password (please call the Main Clubhouse if you need assistance logging in)
Select “Club Calendar” from the Club Info drop down menu
Click on the name of the event; the description and flyer will appear in a pop up window
Scroll to the bottom of the pop up window to select the total number in the party; this is where members can select adult or child prices; there is also a space to write specific comments
Click on the “Create Reservation” button in the lower right corner of the window to finalize the reservation.

If changes need to be made, it is recommended to call the Main Clubhouse and speak with Paige Postol.

Thank you!
